Ariana Grande is adding some literal sparkle to her stacked résumé. The actress and singer has been named Swarovski’s new brand ambassador. She will make her debut in the 2024 holiday campaign.
Both Grande and Swarovski released statements to celebrate the news and explain how their partnership came to be. Grande said, “I am thrilled to be Swarovski’s brand ambassador. It’s an honor to represent a house that shares my passion for creativity, pushes the boundaries beyond the world of jewelry and promotes values of unapologetic self-expression. I cannot wait to embark on this journey and to inspire others to embrace their own unique sparkle.”
Swarovski’s global creative director, Giovanna Engelbert, explained that Grande’s spirit is what led the company to tap her. “Ariana’s charisma and positive energy resonate with Swarovski’s essence of bringing joy to the world, and I am thrilled that she is joining us as brand ambassador,” Engelbert said. “Ariana is a brilliant artist whose creativity shines through her songwriting and vocal performances as well as her personal style. I look forward to engaging in inspiring creative dialogues together.”
Grande’s Swarovski announcement comes as the singer told her fans that she will be shifting her focus to promoting Wicked rather than her new music in the weeks ahead. Grande plays Glinda in the two-part musical film. She wrote to her fans, via E!, “I love you all so much. I have decided to put a temporary pin in all things that are not Wicked for now. Thank you in advance for understanding. I am deeply grateful for your patience and, mostly, so inexplicably excited for all that is to come. There is so much. See you soon.”
Grande’s album Eternal Sunshine, which she had also been promoting, came out in March. The first part of Wicked hits theaters on November 22.
