A viral video shows an elderly man peacefully sleeping under the shade of an open umbrella on a railway track in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, as a train approaches and stops just in time.

The elderly man was discovered resting on the railway tracks, leading the loco pilot to halt the train and wake him up. In the video shared by X user Sachin Gupta, the camera first highlights the man asleep under his umbrella, with the train stopping at a safe distance to ensure his safety.
“In Prayagraj, UP, a man was sleeping on the railway track with an umbrella. Seeing this, the loco pilot stopped the train. Then he woke him up and removed him from the track and then the train passed through,” the post read.
With over 77,000 views, the viral video amassed hilarious reactions from social media users. Reacting to it, a user wrote, “Such brilliant people.” Another user commented, “This is completely confusing. Why he wanted Umbrella at last moment?”
“Yamraj will never forgive this loco pilot,” a third user said.
