He criticized the Chief Minister for appointing a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under his own authority, compromising the impartiality of the investigation. He asserted that such a critical matter must be investigated by an unbiased body, not by those working under the accused party’s administration.
Dr. Swamy also discussed past events that added to the controversy, including allegations involving the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) office, where it was falsely claimed that a picture of Jesus Christ had been hung on the wall. These accusations were perceived as an attempt to create religious tensions and undermine the government of the Chief Minister. Dr. Swamy, after moving the court, ensured that the false propaganda was effectively dispelled, and those behind it faced legal consequences.
