An adorable video of three lion cubs intently staring at a camera has gone viral. Shared by the South African safari lodge Singita, the video of their “staring contest” has captivated social media users.

The video, which has garnered over 1.2 million views, starts with a close-up of the three cubs seated together, each taking turns to gaze directly into the camera.
As the video progresses, the camera focusses on each cub, highlighting their adorable expressions, before pulling back to reveal all three gazing into the lens as if trying to out-stare the viewer.
The caption of the post reads, “Staring contest. We’ve had some of the most phenomenal sightings at Singita all winter long. Case in point! Lions, wild dogs, leopards, and cheetahs have allowed us to witness some of the most intimate moments between mothers and their young, which have stolen the hearts of many of our guests.”
